About Wyatt Coleman
Wyatt received their Master of Social Work degree from the University of Minnesota and is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). They have worked in outpatient, day treatment, and crisis stabilization settings. They have experience working with individuals experiencing neurodiversity, LGBTQ+ identities, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, and regulation and adjustment challenges. Prior to beginning their therapy career, Wyatt dabbled in work at a tea shop, a summer camp, and a motorcycle dealership.
Wyatt’s approach to therapy aligns with their values of connection, vulnerability, self-compassion, and unconditional positive regard. Wyatt also strives to use anti-oppressive practices by honoring clients as experts in their own experiences and holding space to explore identity, privilege, and oppression. Their therapy style is strengths-based and relational, and they use tools from solution-focused, motivational, trauma-informed, person-centered, and play therapy frameworks. Wyatt is currently pursuing certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
Outside of work, Wyatt enjoys motorcycle road trips, spending time outdoors with their family, and drinking tea and cuddling with their cats.
