About Kaitlyn Pommerenke

Kaitlyn is a Master’s level mental health therapist committed to helping adolescents and adults who experience depression, anxiety, difficulty with life transitions, relationship concerns, grief and loss, and those with a history of trauma. She promotes a therapeutic environment that is non-judgmental, trauma-informed and culturally-conscious. She owns a personal intention to harbor a safe space that allows for healing and transformation at the clients pace. Kaitlyn views therapy as a collaboration between therapist and client, which includes empowering the client towards their goals among the belief that they are the expert in their life.

Kaitlyn’s approach is warm and person-centered while using a variety of therapeutic modalities including: cognitive-behavioral therapy, equine assisted psychotherapy, narrative therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques. Kaitlyn is also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) which can be used in tandem with other modalities or solo.

In her free time Kaitlyn enjoys running, cycling, doing yoga, and spending time with family, friends and her dog, Scooter.
